Bet types & in-play

On a racecard one slip can hold a single, an each-way bet or a Yankee, and each carries a different real cost. This section lays out the types and what stands behind them.

Singles and each-way bets lead, then accumulators. Full-cover bets climb in size: Trixie 4 bets, Yankee 11, Heinz 57, and at the top Goliath with 247. Ante-post, in-play streaming, bet builders, Asian handicap and cash out finish the list.

Cost follows from multiplying the unit stake by bet count. GB bookmakers provide in-play betting; cash out has no statutory footing and exists only where an operator chooses to add it.
