About us – Racingtipshub.com

Racingtipshub.com reads horse racing and the wider betting market through the price: what odds imply about probability, how wide the margin runs, what an offer asks in return and what the Gambling Commission demands of operators. No bets are taken here, no tips are sold and no return is promised, as no bet is certain to win.

What the site does not do

Tips on this site are explained as opinions, not offered as forecasts for sale. The editors take no stake in any outcome, hold no customer money and name no bookmaker as the right choice.

Checking a licence

Serving customers in Great Britain requires a licence from the Gambling Commission, and its public register is the test: a brand holds a Great Britain operating licence or it does not. Licensed operators use .com addresses, so the web address tells nothing. A Curaçao, Maltese or Gibraltar licence is no substitute. An operator without the Great Britain licence is described as exactly that, plainly and without a verdict, together with the consequence: no GAMSTOP, no Commission complaints route and weaker protection for the customer. A high ranking is not a licence. Northern Ireland has its own law and lies outside the Gambling Act 2005.

Sources

Operator facts are taken from terms, help pages and footers. Legal points come from statutes and from publications of the Gambling Commission and other public bodies. Prices and promotions move quickly, so any figure carries the time and place it applied. Where sources stop, the matter is put in words and no number is made up.

Readers and limits

The site addresses adults in Great Britain, as betting starts at 18. It is not legal or tax advice. Where betting takes more room than intended, GamCare, GambleAware and GAMSTOP are the places to go.
