Betting sites & exchanges
Before any bookmaker is rated for racing prices, one prior question has to be answered: whether it holds a Gambling Commission licence. This section begins there and only then compares.
Exchanges lead for racing readers, being licensed as betting intermediaries and trading at decimal prices. After them come independent bookies, newer sites, spread betting platforms and the high-limit and no-limit names.
Licensed operators routinely use .com domains, so a domain cannot show who is licensed; only the Commission’s public register can. Britain has no statutory stake cap in sports betting that has been established, which leaves maximum stakes with each operator.
