Combat & motorsport

Races on tarmac and fights in a ring are won or lost on a single result, much as a handicap on the flat is, and the pricing logic carries over. This section sets out the markets that grow from one outcome.

Formula 1, NASCAR and general motorsport come first, with cycling beside them, and boxing, MMA and UFC form the other half. The winner, podium places, fastest laps, the round and the method of victory are the usual lines.

Sport stars appear often in adverts, hence a CAP Code rule: a person who is, or looks, younger than 25 may not be shown gambling or given a significant part in a gambling ad. That concerns the advert’s cast. Placing a bet is open from 18.
