Tennis, darts & cue sports

One horse, one player: individual sports share with racing the habit of moving a price on a single form line. This section compares how those markets are written.

Golf is the closest relative of racing, because it offers each-way betting; how many places pay, and at what fraction, differs between events and operators and is read off the market. Snooker, darts and tennis come next, then table tennis, badminton, padel, curling and chess.

Britain keeps no statutory list of permitted markets. What a licence covers is a category, real events for instance; the markets themselves are a matter for each operator’s rulebook, and a sport can therefore be priced differently from one bookmaker to the next.
